Our courses and consultations
From certified rehabilitation programmes to group courses for expectant and new mothers.
GLA:D® Course — Programme for osteoarthritis
Evidence-based rehabilitation programme for people with knee or hip osteoarthritis, at any age.
The goal of GLA:D® is to bring international best-practice recommendations into clinical practice, to support a better quality of life for people with osteoarthritis.
The programme follows a 3–2–12–1 structure: 3 individual introduction sessions (30 min), 2 group consultation and education sessions (1 hour), 12 group sessions of neuromuscular exercises (1 hour, twice a week) and 1 final individual session (30 min).
Groups are small — a maximum of 6 people. Two therapists at our practice (Dragana and Aline) completed specialised GLA:D® training in 2019 and will guide you through the programme.
As an alternative to the group programme, an individual, personalised programme based on the same principles and adapted to your schedule is also available.

Nordic Walking during Pregnancy
A guided outdoor course for expectant mothers: movement, breathing, and preparation for childbirth through Nordic Walking.
A healthy, fit mother will have a healthier baby, a smoother delivery, and a fitter postpartum recovery.
Nordic Walking is a low-impact, full-body activity that engages most of the body's muscles. During pregnancy it improves posture, breathing, and muscle tone without straining the joints.
Each session combines pole-walking technique, breathing exercises, and time to connect with other expecting mothers.
The instructor is a certified Nordic Walking instructor and Qualitop-recognised: the course can therefore be reimbursed by supplementary insurance.

- Expectant mothers at any trimester (with medical clearance).
- Cost
- CHF 80 for the 4-session block.
- Where
- Physiotherapy Erni, Via Sergio Mordasini 7, 6500 Bellinzona — outdoor sessions in the surroundings of the practice.
Mamma in Forma Course
Six group sessions to reconnect with and strengthen your pelvic floor and get back in shape after birth — in a welcoming space among other mothers.
Pregnancy and birth profoundly change a woman's body, and the pelvic floor becomes weaker. This course is a dedicated time to strengthen it and rediscover muscular balance across the whole body.
Alongside the physical work, it's a lovely moment of connection and sharing between mothers, guided by specialised physiotherapists.
The programme is suitable for both vaginal and caesarean deliveries. Mothers are welcome to bring their baby.
- Who it's for
- Mothers at least 6 weeks after a vaginal or caesarean birth.
- Cost
- CHF 180 for the 6-session course.
- Where
- Physiotherapy Erni, Via Sergio Mordasini 7, 6500 Bellinzona.
Postpartum Consultation
An individual consultation after birth to assess your physical situation and safely return to your routines.
Finding yourself in a new situation? Unsure what you can do without overstraining your body? We offer an individual consultation to assess your physical condition after birth.
Together we look at: pelvic floor (how to engage and train it, urinary or faecal incontinence, prolapse, pain), abdominal wall (diastasis of the abdominal muscles and targeted training).
We also plan your return to sport — so you can get back to your optimal fitness safely.
- Who it's for
- Mothers after birth who want a personal assessment and practical guidance.
- Cost
- CHF 120 for a 1-hour session.
- Where
- Physiotherapy Erni, Via Sergio Mordasini 7, 6500 Bellinzona.
